A selfless organization in Akwa Ibom State, Only Believe Care Foundation on the 27th of May 2022 celebrates Akwa Ibom children in collaboration with Multiplied Grace Fellowship at Bezaleel Hall, house of Assembly road off Udo Udoma Avenue Uyo.
” Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward”. Psalm 127verse3.
The above scripture may have informed the setting aside of May 27th, yearly to celebrate the children.
OBcare in furtherance to its commitment to add value to life, partners the Multiplied Grace Fellowship, an Interdenominational Fellowship, located at Bezaleel hall along Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Road Uyo, was not left out in appreciating God for the gift of children.
Speaking on the theme, Parenting in the 21st century: The role of mothers and children, Deaconess Imabong Uwem Andrew-Essien said due to technological advancement, parenting in this 21st century has become more challenging.
The ED of the organization who likened child upbringing to banking procedures, where you have to deposit inoder to make withdrawal, advised parents to invest in their children’s wellbeing to reap good fruits in the future.
Drawing her text from Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 7, she admonished parents to serve as good models to children as well as depend on God for direction, wisdom while parenting.
The celebration featured song ministration, dance, talk show and bible recitation by the children.
Prayers were made for the children, who were equally anointed and presented with gifts.
High point of the day was placement of 9 years old master Iniubong Udeme Charles on scholarship upto university level by the visioner, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien.
Master Iniubong dazed the congregation with his exceptional brilliance, as he was able to recite every first verse of chapter one in all the books of the old testament.
