The Executive Director, Only Believe Care Foundation, Pastor Imaobong Andrew-Essien has encourage women to carry out proper examination on their breast. Imaobong made this known while sharing her survival story at the Rhoda CareTeam & Empowerment Initiative pink out day event.
ED Imaobong, a cancer survivor disclosed that she was going about her normal routine when she suddenly felt a lump in her armpit while having her bath.
She noted that this discovery made her to rush to the hospital for proper examination through which she was told it was cancerous. Imaobong used her story to inspire attendees noting that cancer is not a death sentence as early detection saves lives.
The ED attributed her recovery miracle to God’s intervention noting that with God there’s complete healing and restoration. She called on everyone to take their health seriously and adhere to Doctors instructions at all times.
Mrs. Andrew-Essien commended Rhoda Ibok, the chairperson and Team lead, Rhoda CareTeam Empowerment Initiative for her selflessness in organizing the pink out day and providing medical assistance to the women. She charged the women to make good use of the opportunity and continually pray for God’s intervention at all times.
The event was well attended by Medical professionals, policy makers, partners and concerned individuals.
