Only Believe Care Foundation team led by the Executive Director Pastor (Mrs) Imaobong Andrew-Essien attended the International cancer week held at Abuja with the theme ADDRESSING CANCER CARE DISPARITIES: THROUGH RESEARCH AND IMPROVED ACCESS TO TREATMENT.
The event which was a gathering of Titans against cancer was organized by Prof. Usman Malami Aliyu, President, National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment ( NICRAT) to help achieve a healthier and brighter world without cancer. It provided participants a clear insight towards addressing the many disparities associated with cancer.
At the event, Pastor (Mrs.) Imaobong Andrew-Essien, ACA, Founder, Only Believe Care Foundation called for maximum collaboration in the fight against cancer. She noted that there’s great strength in synergizing as the fight against cancer remains a unity fight. The founder applauded the Prof. Usman Malami Aliyu and the panelists for an indept knowledge which will further guide in the fight against cancer in Nigeria and the World at large.
The event provided the Executive Director of OBcare foundation an opportunity to connect and drive attention to Only Believe Care Foundation for partnership in addressing the many challenges of cancer patients under the foundation and Akwa Ibom State at large as she met with other founders of NGOs like the;

Highpoint of the event was the launch of 3 informative books by NICRAT on National Cancer Research Agenda, National Strategic Plan for Prevention and Control of Cancer of the Cervix in Nigeria and National Strategic Cancer Control Plan.
The event was graced by Honourable Minister of Budget and Planning H.E Alh. Atiku Bagudu, State Minister of Health Dr. Tunjialausa, NGO’s , NICRAT members among other stakeholders in the health sector.
