Omalivingshow Community led by Marilyn Oma Anona – Usobunandu is a Community of Purposeful people who come together to create positive impact through concerted effort. Over the years, Omalivingshow Community has hosted Women’s Health Outreaches in various States across Nigeria, and this time in Akwa Ibom State.
The objective of this Outreach was to create awareness on Breast Cancer prevention, promote early detection and support those affected by the disease, as Breast Cancer is the leading cause of Cancer related deat hs among Women.
In the course of the event, the Executive Director and Founder of Only Believe Care Foundation Mrs Imaobong Andrew-Essien, spoke briefly on how to guide against breast cancer, things to avoid and how to live a healthy lifestyle.
At the end of her talk, she showed everyone how to perform self Breast Examination.
It was a great and impactful event.
