
The Founder of Only Believe Care (OBCare) Foundation, Rotarian Imaobong Andrew-Essien, has been honoured with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow, in recognition of her remarkable humanitarian contributions.

The honour was conferred by The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, headquartered in Evanston, United States. In a congratulatory message jointly signed by The Foundation Chair Holger Knaack and Rotary International President Francesco Arezzo, Andrew-Essien was commended for her tangible and significant contributions toward the betterment of communities and the advancement of humanitarian service worldwide.

She was formally decorated by Past Assistant Governor Chibuzo Iroadu during a Special Rotary Fellowship organized by the Rotary Club of Uyo Shelter Afrique under the leadership of President Patricia Essien-Obot. The event was held in honour of distinguished Paul Harris Fellows whose service reflects Rotary’s core values.

Also inducted into the circle of Paul Harris Fellows were Rotarian LadyMae Edmonds, Rotarian Imaobong Ukpong, and Rotarian Henrietta Inyang.

The ceremony was witnessed by Imaobong’s husband, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien, who, inspired by the recognition, made a personal donation to The Rotary Foundation in furtherance of its mission to promote service to humanity.

The fellowship attracted a distinguished audience, including Isantim Kenneth Okon, Chief Edmonds Uffang, Hon. Victor Ekwere, Hon. Nsidibe Akata, Past District Governor Akan Emah, Past Assistant Governor Ubong Obot, members of the Rotary Club of Uyo Shelter Afrique, Rotary leaders, and other notable guests and friends of Rotary.
